What sort of configuration do some plugins need? Here’s a sampling:
Admin Menu Editor Pro: the WordPress admin dashboard menu is a vertical menu on the left hand side of the admin area. The default order of the menu items isn’t easy to follow in some areas, especially to newbies. This plugin makes it easy to rearrange and group menu items, and hide any that are unlikely to be used.
Easy Updates: an automatic updater for WordPress and plugin updates. There are a number of preferences that can be set, such as whether to send an email notice whenever an update is done, disabling autoupdates for certain plugins (some custom ones are safer to update manually), etc.
